Vacation rental platforms can charge a fixed monthly amount, a fee per property, portfolio tiers, booking fees or a combination of these models. A low advertised subscription can therefore become more expensive once required modules and transaction costs are included.
Cost by portfolio size
For small portfolios, simplicity and a predictable minimum bill usually matter most. As portfolios grow, the effective cost per property becomes a more useful comparison metric. At larger scale, implementation, integrations, API access and accounting requirements can outweigh small differences in headline subscription price.

How to compare two PMS quotes
Calculate a 12-month total for each platform using the same property count and booking assumptions. Add onboarding, payment fees, required integrations and optional modules. Then compare the operational capabilities that could reduce labor or replace other software subscriptions.
